The Pool will be open extended hours this weekend September 19th and 20th for one final weekend.

We will be open 8am - 8pm for lap swim. Members are welcome to come in and swim with family members, we do ask you to please observe social distancing and stick to one lane per family, and be considerate of other swimmers, as well.

We appreciate your flexibility throughout this summer season and look forward to returning to a more regular schedule of open swim and expanded lessons and swim club next Spring!

The Pool at Pleasant Beach will remain closed this week based on the air quality forecast from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

All scheduled classes and Pleasant beach Swim Club are cancelled as well. Full refunds will be processed for any classes paid in advance.

Thank you for understanding, we will continue to update the site should things change.

The Pool at Pleasant Beach will be closed all day Friday, September 11 due to extremes smoke and unhealthy air conditions in the forecast.

Please stay tuned throughout the weekend for additional updates.  Thank you and stay healthy!

September 9, 2020 POOL OPEN AGAIN!

The Pool at Pleasant Beach will be open for all scheduled afternoon activities.

We will continue to monitor the forecast, and post an update this evening with information about Thursday morning lap swim.

September 8, 2020

The Pool at Pleasant Beach will be closed this afternoon due to air quality concerns.

Puget Sound Clean Air Agency recommends that healthy adults, as well as at risk populations, refrain from outdoor exercise at this time. We are erring on the side of caution to protect our clients and employees from further compromising their respiratory systems.

Thank you and please look for our update on pool status again tomorrow.

July 15, 2020

The State Government has announced that all County Safe Start applications will continue to stay on pause through at least July 28.  Kitsap County will remain in Phase 2 during the waiting period.

We are extending our current Swim Lessons and Pleasant Beach Swim Club schedule through the week of July 27th. If we are approved to move forward before the sessions are complete, we will cancel all classes and refund a pro-rated class dues.

Registration for lessons and PBSC is open on MindBody; the link can be found on The Pool at Pleasant Beach website, under Swim Club & Lessons.

We are having so much fun having your kiddos back in the water, and cannot wait until we can move forward.

Thank you for your continued patience!

June 2, 2020

Dear Pool Members,

I hope you and your families are well and looking forward to Summer and a return to more of the activities we all love.

Thursday’s good news that our county has moved into Phase 2 of the Governor’s Safe Start Plan couldn’t have arrived at a better time. The sunshine this week is a great reminder of the months we all wait for, and we truly appreciate your continued patience under the current COVID-19 restrictions.

As we look forward to successfully moving ahead to Phase 3 and reopening The Pool to our members, we want to share what the process will look like and some exciting updates for the months ahead.

Under the Governor’s plan for reopening, Kitsap County may be eligible to move into Phase 3 by the end of June. For The Pool at Pleasant Beach, this means we will be eligible to reopen at 50% capacity. We will be able to accommodate up to 50 people including staff at a time, to ensure proper safety, and the ability to continue to observe important social distancing guidelines. We will also be adhering to the Center for Disease Control guidelines regarding COVID-19 and water.

In the meantime, we encourage you and your family to explore some of the exciting changes around the Village including delicious Pleasant Beach Donuts in The Marketplace, and Island Cool Frozen Yogurt’s new curbside takeout. We will continue to hold your monthly membership fees at $25 plus-tax until we are able to reopen The Pool, and Pool Bar & Patio.

More communication will be forthcoming, as we approach our reopening.  In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you back very soon!
