Why is a wedding coordinator required to be onsite for the duration of my wedding?
Our staff is focused on providing high quality excellent food and beverage service to your guests. Your wedding coordinator is the interface between you and your guests and our team, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
How do I reserve a date?
The first step is to complete the Wedding Inquiry Form, which will allow us to check available dates. A non-refundable deposit of $1,500 will secure your date and will be applied to your total cost.
What is the best way to visit the venue?
We offer a complimentary Wedding Open House each quarter, which is includes a tour of the venue and the Inn at Pleasant Beach. You’ll have an opportunity to taste some of Chef Joe Benish’s most popular items from our wedding menu and we’ll present wines, including champagne, to help you make menu selections for your wedding. How much does a wedding at Manor House and The Solarium cost?
There are two factors in determining the cost – the food and beverage cost and the venue rental fee.
Our 2019 menu pricing starts at $65 per person (exclusive of alcohol, service fee and sales tax) and includes:
Event waitstaff and bartenders
Tables and chairs
Set up and break down of your event
We also have a venue rental fee that ranges between $3,500 and $7,500, depending on the spaces utilized, the month and the day of the week for your wedding. All that said, the pricing usually runs around $150 per person for a Saturday evening wedding in the summer, with a minimum of 120 guests.
Are there cost savings for non-Saturday wedding dates in the summer?
Yes, there are some cost savings for Friday and Sunday weddings during the popular summer season, and for off-season dates.
Is there a more casual venue available?
Yes. We also have The Marketplace, that is ideal for groups of 60 guests for a banquet-style event or up to 75 guests for a stand-up cocktail and hors d’oeuvres event. The venue rental fee is $1,500, plus food and beverage. Couples often use The Marketplace for receptions or rehearsal dinners.
When will pricing for 2020 weddings be announced?
We have yet to finalize our 2020 menus and pricing, but we don’t expect significant changes from the 2019 rates. Pricing may need to be adjusted slightly for events booked more than one year in advance, due to increased food and staffing costs.
Will our wedding be the only wedding during that day and time?
Your wedding can be the only wedding during that day if you decide to rent the entire venue, regardless of the size of your guest list.
Can I bring in outside catering and my own wine and liquor?
All catering is provided by our professionally trained chef and his staff, who will work with you to create a customized menu. Wine can be brought in and a corkage fee will be applied. Our wine pricing is very competitive. We have full bar service available. Off-site bakers can provide wedding cakes.
